African Innovations - Brooklyn Museum

O Brooklyn Museum apresenta uma exposição contínua de 200 dos melhores objetos da sua coleção de arte de renome Africano no espaço da galeria, recentemente renovada no primeiro andar.

African Innovations, está sendo disposta historicamente, pela primeira vez.

Contendo obras-primas do século VII aC a 1800 dC por artistas que vão desde os antigos Nok e os Helenisticos do norte da África até os Sapi da Serra Leoa e escultores do antigo reino de Benin, irão estabelecer um padrão de interação permanente de África com outros partes do mundo.

E uma seleção de obras contemporâneas, que traz essa história até hoje sendo o primeiro espaço do museu dedicado às obras da África atual.
